We are seeking a talented and experienced Social Media Coordinator to manage and grow our online presence across multiple channels. This mid-level role is responsible for content creation, copywriting, strategy, and day-to-day management of six social media accounts spanning our Tulsa and OKC locations: two Facebooks, two Instagrams, one LinkedIn, and one YouTube. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, creative, passionate about storytelling for a mission-driven cause, and capable of thinking ahead to identify new opportunities for growth and engagement.
Develop and execute social media strategies across all channels, aligned with organizational goals and mission.
Create compelling content, including graphics, photos, videos, and written copy that highlights the impact and stories of Little Light House.
Manage publishing schedules, maintain consistency across all platforms, and ensure brand alignment for both Tulsa and OKC channels.
Drive and strategize engagement, respond to comments/messages, and foster community interaction.
Collaborate with the Creative Manager and marketing team to plan campaigns, promotions, and omnichannel initiatives.
Stay current with social media trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to optimize reach and engagement.
Film and edit videos for social media, including on-camera appearances when necessary.
Lead social media content during miscellaneous events and major fundraisers, fostering community both digitally and in-person.
Track performance metrics and prepare reports on social media growth and engagement.
Contribute forward-thinking ideas for new platforms, campaigns, or initiatives to expand organizational reach.
Support the Creative and Marketing team with miscellaneous responsibilities, such as designing outreach materials, assisting with events, brainstorming creative campaigns, and providing backup support for team projects.
Proven experience managing multiple social media channels in a professional setting.
Creative mindset with a willingness to innovate and experiment with content to a high standard of excellence.
Strong knowledge of social media strategy, trends, and community engagement.
Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Meta Business Suite, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, CapCut (or similar video editing software), and Mailchimp.
Skilled in photography, videography, and on-camera presentation.
Excellent copywriting, storytelling, and communication skills.
Strong project management and organizational skills, with high attention to detail.
