Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in:
- ensuring efficient clinic operations
- delivering exceptional patient service
- supporting our healthcare provider with clinical, surgical and administrative tasks.
This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment that values professionalism, compassion, and excellence. This job is 2 days a week on Mondays and Fridays (approximately 12-15 hours per week).
Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake by collecting medical histories, recording vital signs, and updating electronic health records (EHR systems) accurately.
- Assist physician with clinical procedures including medication administration, and basic diagnostic tests and assist in surgery.
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are sterile and ready for use.
- Follow up with patients after surgery.
Experience
- Prior experience working as a Medical Assistant helpful, but not necessary.
