Responsibilities:
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Diagnose and repair automotive issues, such as engine problems or electrical malfunctions
- Conduct inspections and tests to identify mechanical problems and determine appropriate repairs
- Use power tools and specialized equipment to complete repairs and replacements
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and explaining repair processes
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in diesel mechanics
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
- Proficiency in using power tools and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers and explain repair processes
