Job Schedule:
What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions taken.

Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, bus staging areas, parking locations, buildings, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor access points and authorized entry areas, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.

Assist employees, visitors, passengers, and/or contractors with directions, general information, and support during unusual situations while maintaining professional communication.
Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.

A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
