The Fire Alarm Technician will work to install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Install and program fire alarm systems according to blueprints and technical specifications.
· Perform service and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
· Coordinate with site Superintendent and other trades to complete project plan.
· Assist Inspection, Install, and Service Teams as needed.
· Complete rough and final inspections with authority having jurisdiction.
· Insure that service reports and documentation is completed accurately.
· Ensure compliance with NFPA systems and electrical and fire codes.
· Program, troubleshoot, and test fire alarm systems.
· Identify potential deficiencies and recommend corrective action.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or GED
· 5+ years of related experience
· Denver certification will be required / CSA
· NICET certifications required.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of standing and sitting.
· Physical ability to lift and carry equipment and perform tasks in various environments that may involve working at heights and in tight spaces
· Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
· Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, swat, and crawl, balance, push/pull and reach overhead.
· Repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers.
· Must be able to follow safety protocols and wear proper personal protective equipment.
· Must be able to work safely at client sites in a variety of weather conditions and terrains.
Must be able to navigate to different clients sites daily and have a clean driving record.
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
