Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A skilled radiologic technologist is needed to provide high-quality imaging services in a large healthcare setting with a diverse patient population. This contract opportunity involves working closely with a team of professionals in a busy, well-equipped radiology department.
Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour night shifts (Friday–Sunday, 6:30 pm–7:00 am)
- 36 hours per week
Qualifications:
- Current ARRT certification required
- BLS certification required
- Fluoroscopy and surgery imaging experience is mandatory
- Experience with portable, trauma, and diagnostic X-rays
- O-arm experience preferred; DEXA a plus, but not required
- Minimum of one year of strong, relevant experience (two years for first-time travelers)
- Comfortable caring for adult inpatients and outpatients, with occasional pediatric cases
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality imaging procedures including fluoroscopy, portable, trauma, and diagnostic X-rays
- Adapt to various areas within the main radiology department as needed, providing coverage throughout the hospital
- Work efficiently with Cerner EMR and multiple imaging platforms (GE, Siemens, Konica, Carestream)
- Deliver imaging services for approximately four patients per hour, with dedicated 1:1 patient ratios in certain settings
- Participate in hospital orientation and training to ensure smooth integration into workflows
- Fulfill weekend and holiday rotation requirements as outlined by department policy
