Position Overview:
As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the face of our hotel and the first point of contact for guests. You will ensure a seamless check-in and check-out process, provide personalized service, and resolve any guest concerns in a prompt and courteous manner. The ideal candidate will maintain the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and hospitality while delivering outstanding service that reflects Hilton’s values.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Service Excellence: Greet, welcome, and check-in guests promptly and professionally. Ensure each guest receives a memorable and positive experience from arrival to departure.
Reservation Management: Process reservations and cancellations accurately through the hotel’s reservation system. Offer upgrade options and additional services as appropriate to enhance the guest experience.
Check-in/Check-out Procedures: Efficiently manage guest check-in and check-out procedures while adhering to Hilton’s policies and procedures.
Guest Concerns & Problem Resolution: Address and resolve guest inquiries, concerns, or special requests in a friendly and timely manner. Ensure guest satisfaction at all times.
Hotel Knowledge: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the hotel's facilities, services, and amenities. Be prepared to offer recommendations on local attractions, dining options, and activities.
Cash & Credit Transactions: Accurately process payments and handle cash and credit card transactions. Ensure that all transactions are properly recorded and balanced.
Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with team members, management, and guests. Actively participate in staff meetings and follow departmental instructions.
Safety & Security: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety and security of both guests and staff. Be vigilant and report any suspicious activity or safety hazards.
Professional Appearance: Maintain a neat, professional appearance and adhere to Hilton Garden Inn’s grooming and uniform standards at all times.
Qualifications, Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in a hotel front desk or customer service role preferred, but not required.
Familiarity with hotel reservation systems is a plus.
Skills & Abilities:
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to remain professional and friendly in all situations.
Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to handle guest complaints and resolve issues effectively and diplomatically.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in basic computer software (e.g., MS Office) and hotel reservation software is a plus.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Full-time and part-time shifts available, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
