Electrical Construction Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial and industrial electrical projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate field personnel, maintain project schedules, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget.
This position requires a motivated professional who can effectively manage teams, communicate with clients and contractors, and successfully drive projects through completion according to contract requirements.
Qualifications
- Excellent documentation, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, contracts, and other required documents
- Strong report writing and correspondence skills
- Ability to speak effectively with customers, contractors, and employees
- High proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

- Ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and meet deadlines
- Minimum of 10 years of practical experience as an Electrical Foreman and/or Project Manager in a commercial or industrial electrical environment, or equivalent experience
- Proven ability to positively lead and manage teams while taking projects from start to completion
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Project Coordination
- Meet with estimators and jobsite foremen to review all project requirements including wiring methods, scheduling, labor projections, material requirements, and equipment needs
- Manage and track project schedules, manpower, and labor costs
- Develop weekly goals and milestones for field personnel
- Monitor project budgets and update job cost projections
- Coordinate material procurement and ensure tools, equipment, and information are delivered to jobsites on time
- Ensure submittals are approved and distributed to all necessary parties
- Conduct regular jobsite visits to ensure safety compliance and proper use of PPE
- Coordinate project start-ups with manufacturers, owners, and inspectors
- Obtain all required permits and inspections
- Maintain communication with owners, construction managers, general contractors, subcontractors, and internal staff to ensure successful project execution
Project Closeout
- Manage and complete project punch lists
- Verify contract scope and identify change order opportunities
- Ensure operation and maintenance manuals are completed accurately and submitted on time
- Assist in securing final retainage payments
Estimating & Change Orders
- Perform estimating duties for smaller projects as needed
- Prepare and process change orders
- Coordinate with estimators and field personnel to develop accurate pricing and scope changes

Experience
- Electrical Construction Project Management: 10 years preferred
- Commercial/Industrial Electrical Experience: Required
