Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. Duties
- Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy tailored to individual patient needs
- Conduct assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and identify areas of tension or pain
- Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and occupational health to ensure safe and effective therapy sessions
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend rebooking as needed
- Ensure a clean, comfortable, and professional environment for all clients
- Stay current with industry best practices and participate in ongoing professional development, including staff events, if applicable
Qualifications
- Experience in patient service with a focus on customer care and satisfaction
- Massage Therapist state licensure required
- Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively
- Previous spa experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for specific treatments as needed
- Ability to work professionally while maintaining attention to detail and client comfort
