Duties
Assist dentist during endodontic procedures. Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials, maintaining strict aseptic techniques to uphold infection control standards. Manage patient records using Dentrix, ensuring accurate documentation of medical history, and dental terminology. Support patients by explaining procedures, answering questions about dental terminology, and assisting with appointment scheduling. Monitor vital signs and medical documentation during appointments to ensure patient safety and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Implement infection control protocols and maintain knowledge of anatomy to assist with chairside procedures confidently.
Qualifications
2 years + dental assisting experience is essential. Proficiency with Dentrix is a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, especially pediatrics.
