YA Medical is a rapidly growing mobile healthcare practice providing urgent care, telehealth, IV therapy, and house call services throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area. We bring high-quality medical care directly to patients in their homes, hotels, workplaces, assisted living facilities, and other locations.
We are seeking an experienced, highly autonomous Nurse Practitioner who thrives in an independent practice environment and is comfortable making clinical decisions without direct supervision. This is not a position for a new graduate. We are looking for a seasoned clinician who can confidently manage a broad spectrum of urgent care and primary care conditions while delivering exceptional patient experiences.
Position Overview
The ideal candidate will function as a mobile healthcare provider, evaluating, diagnosing, treating, and managing patients across all age groups in a variety of settings. This provider should possess the clinical confidence and experience typically gained through years of Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, and Primary Care practice.
This position requires strong procedural skills, excellent bedside manner, critical thinking, and the ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Arizona Nurse Practitioner license
- Active DEA registration
- National NP certification
- Minimum 5+ years of post-graduate clinical experience preferred
- Strong background in:
- Urgent Care
- Emergency Medicine
- Primary Care
- Ability to practice independently and confidently
- Excellent diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
- Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
- Valid Arizona driver's license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable using EMR systems and mobile technology
Essential Clinical Skills
Candidates must be proficient in diagnosing and treating a wide variety of acute and chronic medical conditions, including but not limited to:
Urgent Care
- Upper respiratory infections
- COVID-19, influenza, strep throat
- Sinusitis, bronchitis, pneumonia
- Ear infections
- Urinary tract infections
- Gastrointestinal illnesses
- Skin infections and rashes
- Minor injuries
- Allergic reactions
- Asthma and COPD exacerbations
- Dehydration
Primary Care
- Hypertension
- Diabetes
- Hyperlipidemia
- Thyroid disorders
- Weight management
- Preventive medicine
- Chronic disease management
- Medication management and refills
Procedural Requirements
Candidates should be comfortable performing:
- IV placement and IV therapy administration
- Phlebotomy
- Trigger point injections
- Intramuscular injections
- Ear lavage
- Wound care
- Incision and drainage procedures
- Laceration repair and suturing
- Foreign body removal
- Splinting and minor orthopedic procedures
- Point-of-care testing

Pay: $70.00 - $200.00 per hour
