We are seeking a Clinical Manager to add to our dynamic Outpatient Program who can provide clinical support to our campuses in Birmingham and Montgomery, AL. Our campus provides a supportive, empathetic, and structured environment where individuals can safely address the root causes of their addiction and rediscover their true selves.
Responsibilities

Coordinator of all program treatment services monitors approved program concepts and procedures

Monitors and approves all admissions, discharges, and extensions of treatment

Works closely with Treatment Director, Community Relations, and Counseling and Referral Service staff regarding
-
patient referrals or treatment and delivers community service activities as requested

Maintain all treatment schedules, staff schedules, and arbitrate treatment staff issues

Directs treatment practices and monitors performance
-
Monitors patient care delivery and patient welfare
-
Maintains clinical supervision log

Monitors treatment staff growth, development, and training

Participates in Quality Improvement Management program and serves on all assigned committees

Makes counselor/patient assignments, schedules counseling personnel, assures all treatment events are delivered properly and on time

Coordinates all treatment staff meetings or case conferences

Demonstrates the ability to provide clinical supervision or directs supervision to be provided to clinical staff, under the guidelines of Alabama Department of Mental Health & JCAHO

Demonstrates knowledge of the Utilization Review process and participates in the UR meetings, representing knowledge of patient status relative to clinical and financial matters

Demonstrates ability to mediate patient and family concerns regarding delivery of care

Demonstrates skill in interviewing and hiring of Clinical staff

Demonstrates knowledge and compliance of regulatory requirements, is directly responsible for all regulatory preparation and regulatory visits regarding Clinical matters

Demonstrates the ability to implement and enforce Bradford Health Services Policies

Accepts responsibility for on-call status as assigned by Facility Ceo/ Regional Directo

Has ability to demonstrate all Clinical activities, techniques, and procedures to Clinical staff

Develops new Clinical approaches in coordination with the Corporate Director of Clinical Programs

Stays current with new findings in the field of addiction
Qualifications
-
Master’s degree in social science or a related field from an accredited college or university
-
ALC, LPC, LCSW, or LMSW license required
-
Concentration in courses, continuing education, or CEUs in alcoholism addiction treatment or management
Preferred Qualifications
-
3 years of experience in addiction treatment and management preferred
-
1 year of supervisory experience preferred
-
LAADC 2 preferred
