Position: Network Administrator
Duration: Full-time
Shift: Standard EST hours
Salary: $90,000–$100,000
Location: Annapolis Junction, MD — onsite
Requirements:
- Active Secret clearance
- U.S. citizenship required; dual citizens cannot be considered
- 7+ years of Network Administrator or related experience
- 5+ years of experience with:
- Network configuration and monitoring
- Firewall configuration using Palo Alto, Juniper, or similar technologies
- Network monitoring tools, including SolarWinds and NetCool
- Must reside within commuting distance for daily onsite work
- Must participate in a rotational on-call schedule supporting 24/7/365 systems
- Ability to occasionally lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- DHS suitability preferred
Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPN concentrators
- Monitor and optimize network performance, availability, and reliability
- Troubleshoot network issues using firewall logs and packet-capture tools
- Manage network capacity, bandwidth, security, and IP addresses
- Integrate network infrastructure with cloud services, storage systems, and other IT components
- Maintain network diagrams, configurations, SOPs, and troubleshooting documentation
- Manage network load-balancing services
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior network engineers

- This role supports mission-critical federal systems
- Candidates must be available for daily onsite work and rotational on-call coverage
- An active Secret clearance is required at the time of submission; clearance sponsorship is unavailable
- Candidates with higher-level clearances may be considered, but the higher-level clearance may not be maintained

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
