The Production Manager Role
As Window & Door Production Manager, you will oversee the complete installation process from scheduling through completion. You will lead installation crews, ensure projects are completed on time, maintain quality standards, and create an outstanding experience for every homeowner.
You will work closely with sales, operations, installers, vendors, and customers to ensure every project is executed at the highest level.
Responsibilities IncludeProduction & Installation Management
- Manage daily production operations for window and door installation projects
- Coordinate installation schedules and ensure projects are completed on time
- Monitor installation capacity and maintain production goals
- Conduct quality control inspections and ensure company standards are met
- Identify challenges and create solutions to keep projects moving forward
Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop installation team members
- Lead crews with clear expectations, accountability, and support
- Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback
- Build a culture focused on professionalism, teamwork, and excellence
Project Coordination
- Attend pre-construction meetings and review project details
- Coordinate materials, schedules, and job readiness
- Communicate with customers throughout the installation process
- Partner with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
Quality & Safety
- Ensure installations meet company standards and customer expectations
- Maintain compliance with safety policies and procedures
- Promote a culture of safety, efficiency, and craftsmanship
- Address installation issues quickly and professionally

What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of production management experience in windows, doors, remodeling, construction, or a related industry
- Proven experience leading installation crews and production teams
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to manage schedules, materials, and multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience recruiting, training, and developing employees
- Strong communication skills with customers, teams, and vendors
- Ability to solve problems quickly and make confident decisions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
