The Director of Information Technology plays a critical role in ensuring that faculty, staff, and students are supported by reliable, secure, and thoughtfully implemented technology systems that enhance teaching and learning.The RoleReporting to the Business Manager, the Director of Information Technology is responsible for the comprehensive management, maintenance, and advancement of the schools technology ecosystem. This includes infrastructure, network systems, hardware and software, cybersecurity, data systems, and user support. The Director works closely with faculty and staff to ensure that technology is both functional and mission-aligned.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and maintain all school technology systems, including network infrastructure, servers, devices, and cloud-based platforms, ensuring reliability, security, and regular upgradesManage cybersecurity systems, data protection protocols, backups, and disaster recovery planningProvide responsive technical support and troubleshooting for faculty, staff, and students, and ensure classroom technology is functioning effectivelyLead device management, including deployment, maintenance, and lifecycle planningServe as the primary administrator for Blackbaud SIS, supporting data integrity, system configuration, and faculty useCoordinate technology needs for school events and ensure audiovisual systems are operationalCollaborate with school leadership on technology planning, vendor coordination, and strategic improvements, while providing training and support to faculty and staffPersonal QualitiesHighly organized and detail-orientedCalm, flexible, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced settingRelationship-driven, with a service-oriented approach to supporting faculty, staff, students, and parentsInvested in the life of the school and committed to being an active, visible presence on campusSt.
