Overview
We are seeking an experienced baker to help produce all the breads and vinoisserie for our bakery department. Minimum 3 years' experience and must be able to handle production for multiple breads, including sourdough, brioche, baguette, Pullman and laminated dough vinoisserie.
We are now looking for an energetic and motivated individual. We are a high volume, fast paced, high energy restaurant concept, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Focusing on quality ingredients and great service. A minimum of 3 year's experience in the hospitality industry. Must be able to workdays, nights, weekends, and holidays. Duties
- Prepare a wide range of baked goods, pastries, and confections, following established recipes and standards.
- Package finished products securely for retail display or catering events, ensuring freshness and presentation quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Assist in food handling and preparation tasks across the kitchen to support overall production goals.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, knives, ovens, and pastry tools.
- Support catering events by preparing specialty items and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
Experience
- Proven experience in baking within a food production or restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of food handling procedures, food safety standards, and sanitation practices.
- Hands-on experience with food preparation techniques including cooking, baking, and pastry creation.
- Excellent knife skills combined with proficiency in culinary techniques relevant to the food industry.
- Prior experience in a kitchen environment that emphasizes customer service and teamwork.
- Familiarity with packaging processes for food products to ensure quality during storage and transport.
- Culinary experience that demonstrates attention to detail, creativity in decoration, and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
