Job Title: RN – Rehab (Varied Shifts)
Location: St. Joseph Hospital – Nashua, NH 03060
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Varied Shifts
Pay Rate: $65.00 – $70.00/hour (Based on Traveler Experience & Assignment Details)
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Rehab assignment at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, NH. The RN will provide professional nursing care, promote patient safety, support quality initiatives, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide professional nursing care to patients within the assigned hospital unit
- Carry out provider orders and maintain comprehensive clinical documentation, including care plans each shift
- Communicate patient information effectively through bedside shift reports, multidisciplinary rounds, and hourly rounding
- Maintain unit competencies and complete required learning modules within designated timelines
- Promote patient safety, quality improvement initiatives, and a positive department culture
- Follow established procedures and protocols to provide a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff
- Participate in safety huddles, performance improvement activities, and shared governance practices
- Monitor nurse-sensitive indicators including CAUTI, CLABSI, CDIFF, HAPU, Falls, HH, and VAE
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and assist fellow healthcare team members
- Provide patient education using culturally appropriate resources
- Serve as a preceptor for new nurses when needed
- Effectively delegate care activities and collaborate with nursing assistants and other staff
- Participate in peer feedback, engagement initiatives, and organizational quality programs
Required Qualifications:
- Current New Hampshire RN License required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
- Graduate of an approved Nursing Program preferred
- Basic Dysrhythmia knowledge preferred (or must complete prior to orientation completion)
- CPI Training preferred (or must complete prior to orientation completion)
Additional Requirements:
- Must maintain current nursing license and required certifications
- Must demonstrate commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork
- Must be willing to work varied shifts
