Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet high standards of quality and consistency
- Support inventory control efforts by monitoring stock levels, conducting regular audits, and assisting with ordering supplies using the POS system
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures to uphold health standards
- Help with staff training and development initiatives, including onboarding new team members and providing ongoing coaching on food production and customer service excellence
- Manage shift operations efficiently by coordinating staff schedulesand ensuring timely service delivery
- Collaborate with restaurant management to implement food cost controls, budgeting strategies, and operational improvements
- Foster a positive team environment by supervising staff performance and supporting a culture of hospitality and teamwork
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within a quick service or fast food restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of POS systems for order processing and inventory tracking
- Demonstrated supervisory experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment with leadership skills in team management and training
- Familiarity with food safety standards, proper food handling techniques, and health regulations
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries professionally
- Experience working in casual dining or fine dining establishments is preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support restaurant operations

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- F&B operations leadership and/or management positions: 2 years (Required)
- managing direct reports: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- Food Service Manager Certificate (Preferred)
