Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed at all times
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and supporting kitchen staff as needed
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain a clean, organized dining area in compliance with sanitation standards
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service in casual dining
Experience
- Prior restaurant or food service experience REQUIRED
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is essential
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations required
