Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently, manage multiple work orders, and prioritize tasks effectively. This role requires a strong background in general maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential/commercial properties
- Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing issues
- Handle minor low and high voltage electrical repairs safely
- Diagnose and repair common appliance issues (refrigerators, dishwashers, washers, dryers)
- Manage and complete work orders with minimal supervision
- Prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- On-Call Rotation
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3+ years experience in a maintenance department or similar role
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance
- Familiarity with common household and commercial appliances
- Ability to work independently and stay organized
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred (but not required):
- Experience with drywall and painting
- Minor HVAC Knowledge
- Pool Maintenance Experience
