The Wooden Table Inn has been a gathering place in the Britt community for generations. We're looking for a dependable cook who respects that tradition while helping us continue to build on it.
Our kitchen has been operating with many of the same recipes, routines, and standards for years. We're looking for someone who can take the time to learn how we do things, earn the trust of the team, and then help us thoughtfully introduce new efficiencies that improve our operation without changing what our customers have come to love.
Schedule
- 30–35 hours per week
- Wednesday through Sunday
- Approximately 3:30 PM until close
What You'll Do
- Prepare menu items with consistency, quality, and attention to detail
- Learn and maintain the recipes and standards our customers expect
- Work efficiently during busy dinner service
- Keep a clean, organized, and food-safe kitchen
- Assist with prep and closing duties
- Help identify opportunities to improve kitchen organization and workflow over time

- Is dependable and shows up ready to work
- Thrives in a fast-paced kitchen
- Takes pride in producing consistently great food
- Is patient, respectful, and willing to learn our established systems before recommending changes
- Has the experience and judgment to help introduce practical improvements and efficiencies over time
- Works well with others and contributes to a positive team environment
- Has previous line cook experience (preferred), though we'll train the right person
