Full Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Ability to oversee all Accounts Payable activities to ensure vendors are paid accurately, and timely.
Verify vendor invoices with purchase orders, and resolve any differences with our buyers. Request corrected and missing invoices from vendors and update purchase orders in our A/P system.
Process daily invoices received via mail, fax, and email. Make copies to file with each purchase order. Double check purchase orders and invoice information for next days check run.
Process daily check runs via check, ACH, or Wire Transfer
Add and maintain vendor records in A/P system
Maintain and file purchase orders and paid invoices

Skills and Qualifications:

Previous experience in Accounts Payable and/or in Back Office Operations
Experience using Produce Pro a plus, but not required

Experience using a computer and entering data
Ability to work in a face paced environment
Must be punctual and reliable
Work M-F 7:30-3:30
Occasional overtime when needed and approved
Must be well Organized and have a eye for detail and accuracy
A&J is located in Row A of the Hunts Point Produce Market

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $54,000.00 - $57,200.00 per year
