Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Dietary Manager, where your expertise will drive the success of our dietary services and enhance the well-being of our residents. In this vital leadership role, you will oversee all aspects of nutrition and meal planning, ensuring compliance with health standards and fostering a positive dining experience. Your passion for nutrition, management skills, and dedication to quality care will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the dietary department, including meal preparation, service, and sanitation standards to ensure safety and quality.
Develop and implement individualized care plans that incorporate patient assessments, dietary restrictions, and nutritional needs.
Manage dietary budgets, inventory, and procurement processes to optimize resources while maintaining high standards.
Coordinate with healthcare teams to conduct diagnostic evaluations and adjust nutrition plans accordingly.
Oversee specialized feeding procedures such as tube feeding and assist with patient education on nutrition and health coaching.
Supervise staff performance, provide training on physiology knowledge, dietetics practices, and compliance with assisted living regulations.
Ensure all dietary activities align with regulatory requirements and best practices in nutrition management.

Experience

Proven management experience within a dietary or healthcare setting, preferably in assisted living or long-term care environments.
Demonstrated supervising experience with a focus on team leadership and staff development.
Extensive knowledge of dietetics, physiology, nutrition science, and care plan development.
Familiarity with patient assessment techniques, tube feeding protocols, and diagnostic evaluation procedures.
Strong background in budgeting, inventory control, and resource management within a dietary department.
Prior experience in health coaching or providing nutritional guidance tailored to individual health conditions.
