Marketing Manager & Brand Content Manager

Full-Time | San Diego County

Are you passionate about food, hospitality, storytelling, and building brands that people genuinely love? We are looking for a creative, driven, and highly organized Marketing Manager & Brand Content Manager to lead marketing efforts across all Valley Farm businesses.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing family of brands spanning specialty retail, restaurants, hospitality, outdoor recreation, and e-commerce. Every day is different, and every brand has its own unique story to tell.

The Valley Farm family of businesses includes:

Valley Farm Market – San Diego's premier specialty grocery market, butcher shop, and artisan marketplace, featuring the highest-quality meats, fresh prepared foods, locally sourced products, and specialty groceries.

High Marea – Our newest restaurant in Del Mar, inspired by the flavors of Baja and Sonora. High Marea features a thoughtfully curated, seed oil-free menu built around single-source ingredients, exceptional quality, and simple, honest food.

The Outpost by Valley Farm – A mountain destination in Mount Laguna featuring a restaurant, full bar, cabins, live music, and year-round community events.

Butchered Tails – A commercial and charter sportfishing business delivering unforgettable fishing experiences while supplying premium local seafood.

Valley Farm Vault – Our newest resale business, focused on sourcing and offering unique, collectible, premium, and hard-to-find products through a modern online marketplace.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for someone who can help shape the voice of every brand while maintaining a consistent level of excellence across all marketing efforts.

What You'll Do

Develop and execute marketing strategies across all Valley Farm brands.
Manage and grow our presence on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
Capture and create engaging photo and video content that tells the story behind our people, products, food, events, and experiences.
Plan and execute campaigns for grand openings, product launches, promotions, seasonal events, and community initiatives.
Coordinate email marketing campaigns and customer communications.
Update and manage website content across multiple businesses.
Monitor social media analytics, website performance, and campaign metrics to continually improve results.
Build relationships with local media, influencers, community organizations, and brand partners.
Design digital and print marketing materials including signage, menus, advertisements, promotional graphics, and event collateral.
Maintain brand consistency while allowing each business to have its own unique personality.
Work closely with ownership and leadership to bring new ideas to life as our company continues to expand.

Qualifications

3+ years of professional marketing experience.
Strong social media management and content creation skills.
Photography and videography experience.
Proficiency with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience using Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, email marketing platforms, and social media scheduling tools.
Excellent copywriting and communication skills.
Highly organized with strong project management abilities.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Hospitality, restaurant, retail, grocery, or lifestyle brand experience is highly preferred.
