Full Job Description

CMWA, an automotive wheel manufacturer located in Central Kentucky, is looking for a Japanese bilingual translator to translate and interpret documents and spoken passages from Japanese to English and English to Japanese. Working experience in manufacturing processes preferred.

Position Summary:

The position is responsible for simultaneous interpretation in various meetings, e.g. Engineering, Quality, Management and Senior Management and translation of supporting documents frequently used in the course of day to day plant functions.

Responsibilities & Duties

Written translation
Simultaneous interpretation
Sight translation (read in silence and translate out loud)
Translation of plant production materials

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in interpretation / translation, language, or related field
Familiarity in Microsoft Office Applications
1 to 3 years of practical experience required
Excellent oral and written translation skills between Japanese and English reguired
Must be fluent in Japanese writing, reading and speaking
