Ophthalmic Technicians & Assistants Salaries in Florida

Helping and answering questions of other staff members. Helping in front office when needed. Cleaning, stocking, opening/closing of exam and work up rooms.

$16 - $18 an hour

Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment. Prior ophthalmic or healthcare experience preferred, but not required.

General medical knowledge and attention to details is a must. Candidate should have strong customer service skills.

$15 - $20 an hour

Minimum six months experience in the ophthalmic, optometric or medical assisting field with patient interaction preferred. Keeps supplies ordered and stocked.
