Answers telephone promptly, courteously using good telephone etiquette taking complete messages, providing adequate information and routing callers properly.

Answers phone calls and/or inquiries from insurance carriers or other parties to assist in the prior authorization for scheduled procedures as necessary.

Associate Degree in Business or Medical Billing and Coding field preferred; work experience or other education may be considered in lieu of a degree.

$17 - $21 an hour

Graduate from a post -high school certificate program in medical billing or another business-related field is preferred.

All incoming calls are to be personally handled when able, or directed to the relevant staff member in a timely manner.
