Cable Installer Salaries in New Jersey

Test, locate, install, and repair cabling infrastructure associated with trouble calls, and performs routine maintenance.

Conduct testing and cable certifications using Fluke (or similar) testers to verify link performance and Tier 1/Tier 2 fiber certification.

$31 - $42 an hour

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel frequently. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment. 401(k) with company match.

$30 - $45 an hour

Proven experience working as a telecommunications infrastructure technician or service technician in the field. High school or equivalent (Required).

$600 - $1,500 a week
