Basic life support certification required. Basic life support certification – Employer will assist if not completed. Maintained equipment and adequate supplies.

Performs clerical/computer tasks 2%. High School Diploma/GED and Graduate from an accredited Surgical Tech School Program with Certification.

Assists the attending physician in draping of the patient and sterile field. Removes any remaining instruments from operative/procedure field.

Completion of an appropriate surgical technician program. Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation. High school graduate or equivalent.
