Responds to incoming telephone calls regarding pending referrals, including timely response to voicemail messages. Patient and Community Focus and Collaborate.

$19.03 - $31.39 an hour

Process and track all incoming and outgoing referrals using NextGen EHR system. Up to 3% matching 403(b) retirement plan. High school diploma/GED required.

Knowledge of state and federal health care programs, including Medicaid, Medicare and other public benefits programs, preferred.

The Specialist is also accountable for verifying that the pre-certification/pre-authorization matches the services that were actually performed.
