About Us
ACT Advisors is a fee-only fiduciary wealth management firm with offices in Asheville, NC and Charleston, SC, serving clients nationwide. Our core values—Trust, Fiduciary Duty, Authentic Compassion, and Discretionary Effort—guide everything we do.
We deliver comprehensive financial planning and investment management to senior executives, high-net-worth families, and retirees. Our approach centers on deep, integrated financial planning—aligning investments, tax strategy, and long-term decision-making into a structured, comprehensive planning process.
We operate as a tech-forward, process-driven firm and actively incorporate technology and AI into our planning and operational workflows to improve consistency, efficiency, and overall client outcomes. Our team works with a high degree of autonomy, utilizing EOS structures to maintain clear communication, accountability, and efficient execution.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) to take ownership of financial planning execution across the firm. This is a career planning role, not an advisor or sales track.
You will be responsible for the full planning process—data gathering, data entry, analysis, reporting, deliverables, and meeting preparation—across both ongoing AUM client relationships and subscription financial planning engagements.
You will work directly with advisors and clients, with responsibility for ensuring that planning across the firm is consistent, accurate, and executed at a high level.
This role requires someone who takes ownership of planning outcomes and is motivated to continuously improve how planning is delivered. Ultimately, this position is best suited for someone who takes initiative, leans in without being asked, and takes pride in producing thorough, accurate, and complete planning work.
This is a fully remote role for U.S.-based candidates.
