About this Role
We are seeking qualified Contractors to fill an Automotive Warranty Claims Processor position.
As a Claims Processor in the automotive sector, your primary responsibility will be to review dealer claims for warranty reimbursement by the manufacturer. This role requires direct interaction with dealership personnel, both over the phone and through email, to ensure all required documentation is provided and claims are accurately processed.
You will communicate necessary claim corrections and guide dealers through the reimbursement process, enabling prompt and accurate payment for warranty work performed. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a customer-focused approach are essential for success in this position.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of automotive mechanics, dealership operations, and warranty programs, complemented by excellent interpersonal skills and proficiency with digital tools. This is an opportunity to play a vital role in supporting dealership partners and ensuring the integrity of manufacturer warranty programs.
This is a remote opportunity open to individuals located in the United States (USA) .
Additionally, the role requires access to reliable internet and the ability to manage all responsibilities from a home office
The project hours of operations will be Monday – Friday , in which the candidate must be available to work an 8-hour shift between 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern Time . Shifts may vary due to business needs.
Contractors will be engaged and paid for by a third-party payroll supplier, eteam , which will serve as the employer of record for tax and compliance purposes.
Key Responsibilities
Core Duties
Receive inbound calls and chats from dealerships and/or end customer
Maintaining / updating equipment registrations
Resolving pricing errors on claims
Updating warranty coverage periods on equipment
Answering dealer questions about warranty policy and claim submission
Resolving dealer issues with claim entry and submission
When additional research is required, make outbound calls to dealerships to resolve outstanding issues
Must have strong attention to detail when listening and speaking to dealerships, and using company systems to process their information
Utilize training resources and internal sites as required
Build relationships with dealerships to provide excellent customer experiences to every dealership, every time
Use critical thinking skills to process complex situations and provide personalized resolutions

Receive and address inbound calls and chats from dealership personnel and end customers
Actively listen to concerns, questions, and requests, ensuring thorough understanding and empathetic engagement during every interaction

Qualifications
High School Diploma
Minimum of 3 years Automotive repair experience
Minimum of 1 year Customer Service experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or Higher
Vehicle Warranty Knowledge
ASE certification is a plus
Experience in customer support operations emphasizing automotive service / after sales support
Experience as a Warranty administrator within a Dealership environment
Additional Information / Requirements
Must have knowledge of the working mechanics of vehicles
Provide clear written and oral communication
Knowledge of Microsoft Suite and basic computer skills
