You must demonstrate the ability to balance priorities; working independently and with teams to meet aggressive project timelines. Our consultants must have extremely strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of technical personnel, executives, managers, and subject matter experts both internally and with clients.

Responsibilities

Lead and complete Virtual Desktop Infrastructure/ Application Delivery Projects including:
System Assessment, Design, Build, and testing
System Health Checks & Reports
Escalation and Problem Management
Maintain daily time entries and project updates in our CRM/Professional Services Automation System
Work closely with our Account Managers and other technology teams to create and deliver client facing proposals, consulting documents, and presentations
Technical document creation (including analysis, reporting, and recommendation summaries)
Ensure an exceptional client experience with regular proactive communication project updates, and meetings
Ongoing professional development, education, and certification advancement (training, conferences etc…)
Be available to assist your team mates 24/7; on call duties are based on rotating team schedule
Provide expert technical support assistance to clients and our Service Desk
Prepare and deliver occasional client and internal training for users and support methods.

Technology Skillset

Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop
Web Interface, StoreFront, Provisioning Services,UPM.
Remote Desktop Services
Microsoft Technologies
Windows Server 2012/2016
Active Directory (Authentication, DNS, DHCP, GPOs)
File Services, Print Services
Group Policy
Office 365 is a plus
VMware View or other VDI solutions are a plus
Azure, AWS

Required Experience

3+ yrs leading the design and build of SMB and/or enterprise VDI solution projects
5+ yrs experience in IT; with advanced server and desktop performance management and troubleshooting
Cloud and Managed Service Provider experience is an asset

Education and Certification

University Degree and/or related Technical Diplomas are strongly encouraged
Citrix Virtualization Certification: CCA-V working towards CCP-V or CCE-V (Legacy Citrix certification will be considered; CCEA or CCEE)
Microsoft: MCP working towards MCSE (Legacy Microsoft MCSA/MCTIP:EA or equivalent will be considered)
