About Us

Inland Empire Growing is a Washington cannabis producer/processor focused on reliable execution, product freshness, and strong service to retail partners. We produce and fulfill packaged cannabis products in a fast-moving, compliance-driven environment where accuracy, pace, and accountability matter.

We are looking for a Order Fulfillment Assistant to help run day-to-day order fulfillment and support a highly organized, efficient processing department. This role is for someone who can balance detail, urgency, and leadership—someone who can keep orders moving while maintaining quality and compliance standards.

Position Summary

The Order Fulfillment Assistant is responsible for helping coordinate and executing outbound order fulfillment from start to finish. This includes printing and organizing pull sheets, pulling and checking product, packing orders, preparing paperwork, maintaining compliance standards, and communicating closely with inventory and processing leadership to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

This person will also help improve workflow, identify bottlenecks, and support a clean, organized, high-accountability fulfillment process.

Key Responsibilities

Print, organize, and manage daily order pull sheets and fulfillment paperwork
Pull product accurately based on submitted orders and internal inventory records
QC completed orders for accuracy, packaging quality, labeling, and overall presentation
Pack orders efficiently and securely for outbound delivery or transfer
Prepare and verify required paperwork and supporting documentation for each order
Maintain compliance with Washington state cannabis regulations and internal traceability procedures
Communicate with Processing Manager, Inventory Manager, and relevant team members to resolve shortages, substitutions, timing issues, or other fulfillment constraints
Monitor fulfillment flow and help prioritize orders based on deadlines and operational realities
Maintain organized work areas, product staging zones, and fulfillment materials
Identify process issues and recommend improvements to increase speed, accuracy, and consistency
Help train, guide, and hold team members accountable within the fulfillment workflow
Support inventory accuracy through careful handling, documentation, and cross-checking of product during fulfillment

What We’re Looking For

2+ years of experience in fulfillment, warehouse operations, inventory, packaging, or a similar operational lead role
Cannabis industry experience strongly preferred
Working knowledge of state compliance and traceability systems
Strong attention to detail and follow-through
Ability to move quickly without sacrificing accuracy
Strong communication skills and sound judgment under pressure
Leadership ability: able to direct workflow, solve problems, and maintain standards
Comfortable using Google Workspace, including Sheets, Docs, and related tools
Team-oriented, dependable, and solution-focused
Able to thrive in a fast-paced production and fulfillment environment
must be 21 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in cannabis processing, packaging, or order fulfillment
Familiarity with inventory reconciliation and lot-based product handling
Experience identifying workflow improvements in a production or warehouse setting
Experience leading or training others on SOPs and daily execution

Working Conditions

This role operates primarily in a production, packaging, inventory, and office support environment. The position requires regular movement between workstations and active involvement in day-to-day fulfillment operations.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, grab, and lift throughout the shift
Ability to move up and down stairs while carrying product or materials
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Ability to perform repetitive handling and packaging tasks as needed
