Troon’s Corporate office, located in Bradenton, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Director of Sales & Marketing! We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and advance their career within a rapidly growing organization. The ideal candidate will bring a strong commitment to professional development and a desire to succeed in a dynamic corporate environment.

Compensation: $70,000 to $75,000 per year (Depending on Experience)

Job Summary
This position plays a key role in the delivery and execution of Troon sales and marketing approach. Backed by the global brand and resources of Troon, the Director of Sales & Marketing collaborates with an assigned portfolio of club and HOA associates, owners, and key stakeholders to elevate sales, revenue, communication and awareness through proven strategies and expert guidance. In addition, this individual will leverage proprietary Troon programs, industry best practices and current trends in the marketplace to drive results at Troon clubs and communities.

Key Responsibilities

Implement corporate sales & marketing strategies, policies and procedures, including compliance of company standards relating to quality of sales and marketing programs and services.
Provide sales and marketing leadership to assigned facilities and communities. Creating sales & marketing plans, budgets and strategies for implementation.
Assist facilities and communicates with creating sales/marketing/communication plans, budgets and strategies.
Deliver compelling presentations tailored to diverse audiences, including executive leadership, stakeholders, and external partners.
Oversee the management and implementation of corporate programs, including but not limited to the following: Troon Access, Rewards, Troon Advantage, Troon Privé Privileges, Troon Connect, Troon Golf Vacations, Troon Gift Cards, Play Troon Programs and more.
Assist facilities with tracking and reporting upon Troon delivery from corporate programs and services.
Assist with ad design, creation and implementation.
Support the creation and management of individual facility SEO and SEM campaigns.
Oversee the creation and implementation of broadcast emails for facilities and corporate programs.
Provide oversight assistance with the creation and management of facility websites.
Oversee organization and execution of regional sales and marketing meetings.
Manage and create partner, client and vendor relationships, including but not limited to: Versant, MembersFirst, Iterable, ProposalPath, EventPro360, Players 1st, etc.
Assist with proactive public relations strategies and implementation to include press release cadence (using in-house tools/resources), fam trip, award/accolade solicitation/communication and other public relations campaigns.
Provide social media education, training and strategic direction.
Implement and maintains excellent service standards to achieve positive NPS and guest satisfaction.
Support the hiring, management and creation of incentive plans for facility sales leaders.

Qualifications

Experience:

Required

5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or campaign coordination.
Experience managing multi-channel campaigns and supporting event-based initiatives.
Proven success in the field of sales and marketing, working with varied levels of key stakeholders.

Knowledge and Skills

Possesses excellent written and verbal presentation skills, is detail oriented, and utilizes exceptional time management expertise in managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Ability to analyze and interpret complex information to recommend the appropriate best practices, and/or develop new strategies and approaches.
Ability to compose contemporary sales and marketing presentations that effectively and efficiently communicate approach, progress, results, value, and next steps.
Proven working knowledge of social media, website development, graphic design, video production, and photography, and be at ease with and/or an early adapter of technology.
Ability to excel while working independently with little supervision.
Expertise in all Microsoft Office applications and online creative platforms

Preferred

Experience in hospitality, golf, or lifestyle industries.
Exposure to regional or multi-property marketing structures.
Comfort analyzing and presenting data to diverse stakeholders.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field required.

Certificates/Licenses:

None required.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods.
Ability to communicate effectively in writing, presentations, and digital formats.
Travel required to clubs, events, or industry conferences. This position requires up to 50% travel.
