Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Health Cloud Developer II to design, develop, test, implement, and support Salesforce Health Cloud solutions in a remote environment.
This role will focus on Salesforce Health Cloud development, application customization, system integrations, APIs, workflows, debugging, and technical support. The Developer will work closely with Salesforce administrators, developers, business teams, and other technical resources to support multiple system interfaces and data integration initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of application development experience, including a minimum of 1 year of hands-on Salesforce Health Cloud experience, with strong skills in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and JavaScript.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, code, debug, test, document, and implement solutions within Salesforce Health Cloud.
- Develop Salesforce application customizations based on business and technical requirements.
- Design and support user interfaces and workflows based on business needs.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems.
- Use Salesforce APIs to support system interfaces and data integration.
- Analyze technical requirements and convert logical designs into functional application code.
- Modify and enhance existing programs to improve performance, efficiency, and functionality.
- Participate in code review sessions with senior and lead developers.
- Evaluate and test vendor-supplied software packages for compatibility with existing systems.
- Install and test software upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
- Research available Salesforce modules and understand how different applications and modules interact.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and system issues.
- Provide technical and functional support to end users.
- Monitor critical workflows and escalate issues when necessary.
- Collaborate with Salesforce administrators, developers, business teams, and other technical resources.
- Support multiple system interfaces and data integration services.
- Maintain technical documentation related to application development and system changes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of application development experience.
- 1+ year of hands-on Salesforce Health Cloud development experience.
- Experience with Apex.
- Experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Experience with Visualforce.
- Strong JavaScript development skills.
- Experience developing and customizing applications within Salesforce.
- Experience working with Salesforce APIs and system integrations.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand business processes and translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

U.S. Citizenship is required.
Candidates must be able to receive a favorable interim and final Department of Defense background investigation.
This is a temp-to-permanent opportunity, with a minimum 90-day temporary period before conversion.
Ideal Candidate
We are especially interested in candidates who have hands-on experience developing within Salesforce Health Cloud, rather than general Salesforce experience alone.
Candidates should be comfortable working with Apex, LWC, Visualforce, JavaScript, APIs, integrations, workflows, and application troubleshooting in an enterprise environment.
