$ Salary Estimate: $606,658 - $1,112,208 / year

Job Summary:

Established cardiothoracic surgery program at LewisGale Medical Center in Salem, Virginia is seeking an experienced cardiothoracic surgeon.

Qualified Candidates:

Board certified or board eligible
5+ year of experience preferred
Superb communication skills and a passion for program development and collaboration
Experience and comfort level with heart bypass surgery, valve repair and replacement (including open and endovascular aortic procedures)
Structural Heart Experience (TAVR, LAAC) preferred
Minimally invasive lung surgery experience preferred
Knowledge and experience with advanced technologies to reduce the invasiveness of thoracic and cardiovascular procedures preferred
Capable of doing complex cases in independent setting
Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed in the state of Virginia
Leadership opportunity available, if desired
1:2 call schedule
