The Accounting Manager will take ownership of the month-end and year-end close, oversee core accounting operations, develop staff, and help strengthen processes and controls as the company continues to grow through acquisitions.

Own the month-end and year-end close process

Manage the general ledger and financial reporting activities

Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet accounts

Oversee AP, AR, and fixed asset accounting

Lead, coach, and develop accounting team members

Drive process improvements, automation, and stronger controls

Support acquisition integration and accounting initiatives

Partner closely with the Controller to improve efficiency and create capacity within the department
Reporting to the Controller, this individual will oversee:

Three accounting team members

A future Accounts Receivable hire

A future Staff Accountant hire
We're looking for an accounting leader who has:

Personally owned month-end and year-end close processes
-
Strong general ledger, reconciliation, and balance sheet review experience

Experience overseeing AP, AR, and fixed assets

Proven leadership, coaching, and performance management skills
-
A hands-on approach with the ability to delegate effectively
-
Strong problem-solving skills and process improvement experience
-
Comfort operating in a growing, evolving environment
Strong ERP experience and adaptability are more important than experience with any specific system.
