Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Japanese Bilingual HR Admin Support professional to join our manufacturing team. This person will be working closely with the Human Resources Lead to support the day-to-day manufacturing facility by providing administrative Human Resources support, and Japanese and English translation services. This position serves as a key communication link between our U.S. operations and Japanese leadership while supporting employees, HR initiatives, and daily operations. This is a first-shift position, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent

Technical Skills

Must be fluent in both English and Japanese with the ability to read, write, speak, interpret, and translate accurately in a professional business environment.
Have strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams and cultures.
Previous Human Resources experience or knowledge is preferred but not required.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Experience using collaboration platforms such as Microsoft office suites/Teams, Zoom, or SharePoint.

Roles and Responsibilities

Interpretation and Translation

Provide accurate English and Japanese interpretation for meetings, training sessions, and daily operations.
Translate business documents, policies, procedures, emails, and other communications between English and Japanese while preserving the original meaning, context, and intent.
Facilitate effective communication between Japanese leadership, expatriates, and U.S.-based employees.
Support Japanese expatriates throughout relocation, onboarding, and offboarding by coordinating housing, banking, Social Security, driver's licenses, and other administrative requirements. administrative procedures.

Administrative/HR Responsibilities

Manage office and safety supply inventory, including purchasing and replenishment.
Coordinate business travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, rental vehicles, and itineraries.
Serve as the primary point of contact for front desk operations by greeting visitors and answering incoming telephone calls.
Plan and coordinate company events, employee recognition activities, and engagement programs, including luncheons, Snack Days, and employee outings.
Assist with employee relations, onboarding, training, and employee engagement initiatives.
Maintain employee records and support timekeeping, attendance, payroll, and other HR administrative functions.
Promote a positive, safe work environment by supporting workplace safety programs and Safety Committee activities.
Partner with managers to provide HR support and perform other Human Resources and administrative duties as assigned.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
