Job Title: Accounts Receivable (A/R) Clerk

About Us:

Jay’s Catering is a premier catering company serving Baltimore and beyond. We manage multiple catering brands and are seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable (A/R) Clerk to oversee receivables across several businesses.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk with a strong background in collections and A/R management. This role involves handling receivables for multiple catering businesses, working within various ERP systems, and ensuring timely collections. The ideal candidate must be a quick learner in software platforms, proficient in Excel, and have experience with Caterease and MONKEY Admin Console (a plus). Fluency in American Sign Language is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage A/R and collections across multiple catering brands.
Ensure accurate invoicing, payment tracking, and collections follow-ups.
Work within various ERP platforms, including Caterease and MONKEY Admin Console (preferred).
Communicate with clients regarding billing inquiries and payment arrangements.
Generate and analyze A/R reports to improve collections and cash flow.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records of transactions and communications.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in A/R and collections with a strong success rate.
Ability to quickly learn new software and work across multiple platforms.
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and reporting preferred).
Knowledge of Caterease and MONKEY Admin Console is a plus.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts efficiently.
