Key Responsibilities:
As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for acting as a software detective, providing a dynamic service by identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.
Be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively, take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions.
Provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams is a vital part of this role.
Develop deep expertise in diagnosing and resolving complex software issues to ensure system reliability and performance.
Support and guide colleagues by sharing knowledge and best practices related to application support and database management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence and improve system design and operational processes.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of support strategies by analyzing recurring problems and proposing innovative solutions.
Monitor system health and performance metrics to proactively identify potential risks and implement preventive measures.
Client requires people to work onsite 60% (3 days) and 40% remotely (2 days) per week. Also, 5 days of Time Away are mandated per calendar quarter.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of work experience. MySQL database performance tuning and optimization.
Advanced proficiency in MySQL.
Minimum associate's degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced proficiency in MySQL Database Development.
Advanced proficiency in Application Remediation, Engineering Support, and Database Performance Tuning
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
