Duties
- Develop, train, and optimize machine learning models using frameworks like TensorFlow and other AI tools to solve real-world problems across various domains.
- Design and implement scalable ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to prepare large datasets for analysis using tools like Talend, Hadoop, Spark, and SQL.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective AI solutions that support business objectives.
- Conduct data mining and exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns and insights from complex datasets, including linked data sources.
- Deploy machine learning models into production environments ensuring seamless integration with existing systems using model deployment best practices.
- Utilize natural language processing techniques to analyze unstructured text data for sentiment analysis, chatbots, or information extraction tasks.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of algorithms, processes, and model performance metrics while staying current with emerging trends in AI and quantum engineering.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Strong programming skills in Python; familiarity with Java, C, Bash (Unix shell), VBA is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with big data technologies including Hadoop, Spark, and SQL databases; knowledge of database design is essential.
- Proficiency in cloud computing platforms like AWS for model training and deployment.
- Expertise in natural language processing (NLP), data mining techniques, and analytics tools such as Looker or SAS.
- Knowledge of unsupervised learning methods and their application to large-scale datasets.
- Ability to develop scalable ETL pipelines using Talend or similar tools; experience with data integration from linked data sources is advantageous.
- Familiarity with analytics software such as R or SAS for statistical analysis; experience with Model training and deployment is required.
- Strong understanding of AI principles including machine learning workflows, model evaluation metrics, and natural language processing techniques.
