Summary:
The Web Developer is a full-stack developer responsible for improving our company websites with a focus on front-end development and WordPress site maintenance. The role is responsible for building and deploying new front-end features to our WordPress websites, handling the integration of plugins, and performing routine maintenance of our sites. The Web Developer partners with Marketing and other cross-functional teams to support innovative and transformative marketing execution as we continue to accelerate company growth.
What This Role Does:
- Writes well-designed, testable, efficient code by using web development best practices and evaluates existing code to ensure it meets industry standards, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.
- Creates basic website layouts and user interfaces with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Integrates data from various back-end web services and databases.
- Works with stakeholders to gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
- Creates and maintains software documentation.
- Ensures cross-browser compatibility of new features.
- Stays plugged into emerging technologies and industry trends and applies them to operations and activities.
- Collaborates with internal creative team to realize visual design intent.
- Collaborates with internal development teams for integration with Salesforce and back-end services.
- Demonstrates a foundational understanding of digital paid media and the consumer journey to optimize the website experience and convert leads.
- Delivers comprehensive execution of internal marketing development work such as website migration, website, and marketing portal maintenance.
- Evaluates existing code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.
- Performs routine site audits, as well as ongoing maintenance expanding, and scaling our sites.
- Maintains communication with team members and supervisors concerning the strategic direction of our websites.
- Analyzes and reports on website performance, including re-engineering current web analytics outputs.
- Implements technical SEO fixes and recommendations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, web development, or software development. Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will be considered.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in advanced WordPress development and coding in B2C and B2B ecosystem.
- Fluency in web development fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Vue, React, Angular.
- Familiarity with back-end languages such as PHP, Java, Python, and frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Node.js, and ASP.NET.
- UI/UX design experience with a working knowledge of graphic design and proficiency with responsive web design techniques.
- Familiarity with API development.
- Development and customization of existing WordPress themes & plugins.
- Experience with best practices in code standards and working in a code repo (linting, code reviews, branching strategies, CICD).
- Experience working with APIs and integrating 3rd party tools/services such as Zapier, Salesforce, Pardot and SQL.
- Experience with instrumenting A/B testing tools and content targeting/personalization.
- Experience with optimizing pages for conversion and demand generation.
- Experience with Customer Data Platform (CDP).
- Communication and collaboration skills to engage with multiple technical and non-technical stakeholders and different teams to deliver solutions efficiently.
- Excellent project management skills, attention to detail, taking a proactive approach to test-driven development and best practices.
- Experience working in a fast-paced agile environment as a team player, taking initiative in a remote setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, self-directed and able to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes.
- Ability to guide and support others through collaboration, including assisting teammates and contributing to shared processes, to foster a high-quality, team-oriented environment that drives results.
- Demonstrated ability to use discretion, make sound decisions, and maintain confidentiality.
- Willingness and ability to work flexible hours as needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and modern communication tools for virtual teams (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Slack).
Preferred:
- Prior experience with website analytic tools such as Google Analytics GA4 and Universal Analytics, Google Tag Manager, along with other technologies that track marketing data.
- Experience with Consent Management Platforms (CMPs), such as OneTrust.

Compensation:
$110,000 to $121,000 plus 5% determined by competitive market analysis and internal equity considerations. Final compensation will be based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and business needs.
