Responsibilities
- Work with a team of developers to create, maintain and enhance web services and applications using JAVA on the Linux platform with SQL Server and XML data.
- Work closely with subject matter experts and business analysts to implement technical requirements.
- Assist in the set up and execution of test cases.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills (5+ years overall software development in JAVA)
- Experience with IntelliJ, Eclipse or VS Code IDE using GitHub Repositories
- Experience with Maven and Spring Framework
- Experience with SQL Server, Linux DB2 and Hibernate for data access
- JAXB (Java Architecture for XML Binding) and XSLT experience
- Proficient in Web Service development and testing using Postman, SoapUI and SWAGGER
- Professional self-starter who is clever, innovative, and able to work independently
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must be able to work well in a fast-paced, team environment
Desired Skills
- Knowledge and experience in Angular, CSS, JavaScript, XML Spy
Education
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
