Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated CT/RAD Technologist to join our medical imaging team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in diagnostic radiology, including CT, X-ray, and other advanced imaging modalities. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing critical diagnostic services within a reputable facility known for its commitment to patient care and clinical excellence. Candidates with experience in emergency medicine, Level I or Level II trauma centers, and specialized imaging such as CT Scans and X-Rays.

Duties

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including CT scans and X-rays with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
Assist in diagnostic evaluation by capturing high-quality images for accurate interpretation by radiologists.
Apply aseptic techniques when necessary to maintain sterile environments during procedures requiring invasive techniques.
Ensure proper patient positioning and comfort while explaining procedures clearly to patients of all ages and backgrounds.
Maintain detailed documentation of imaging procedures and patient information in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Operate advanced imaging equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to radiation safety standards.
Collaborate with emergency room staff, urgent care teams, and trauma centers—including Level I and Level II trauma centers—to provide timely diagnostic services in urgent situations.
Stay current with developments in medical imaging technology and techniques through ongoing professional development.

Requirements

Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent licensure required.
Proven experience in nuclear medicine, emergency room settings, or trauma centers is preferred; experience at Level I or Level II trauma centers is highly advantageous.
Proficiency in performing diagnostic imaging procedures including CT, X-ray,.
Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and diagnostic radiology principles.
Ability to operate complex medical imaging equipment with precision while maintaining patient safety standards.
Excellent understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Prior experience working in urgent care or emergency medicine environments is a plus.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced settings such as emergency rooms or trauma centers. This position offers a vital role within our healthcare team dedicated to delivering exceptional diagnostic services that directly impact patient outcomes. Pay: $38.00 - $43.00 per hour
