Full Job Description

Job Summary
Summary: Under the direction of the VP of Operations, this position will lead the CFS Health and Safety Department. The ideal candidate will develop and implement health and safety programs across the U.S. territories, identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate risk, conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within critical spaces. In addition, this position will require written reports, data entry, along with training and development of employees with regards to safety.

** MUST HAVE AN OSHA 500 AND 510**

Duties and Responsibilities

· Coordinate safety training programs for employees

· Prepare reports on incidents and violations and recommend corrective action

· Keep abreast of new legislation and maintain a working knowledge of all Health and Safety Executive (HSE) legislation.

· Assist in acquiring and maintaining ISO certification by ensuring policies and procedures are being followed.

· Interface with regulatory bodies such as OSHA, EPA, etc.

· Initiate and lead emergency response activities when required.

· Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

· Train and certify CFS employees for OSHA 10, 30 and First Aid and CPR.

· Conduct online trainings for U.S. CFS employees.

Skills required to perform the job:

· Ability to work under pressure

· Ability to meet deadlines

· Attention to detail

· Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills

· Ability to use available computer equipment and software

· Computer Skills: Microsoft Office

· OSHA 510 and 511 Certifications

· MEWP Certification

· First Aid & CPR Certification.

· Minimum of 5 years in Health and Safety Management.
