Full Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to young children (ages 1–6) with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental disabilities in a clinic setting.
Use play-based and Natural Environment Teaching (NET) strategies to teach communication, social, play, self-help, and early learning skills.
Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA.
Teach functional communication and support the development of positive, independent behaviors.
Manage challenging behaviors using proactive, evidence-based behavior support strategies.
Collect and record client data and communicate regularly with BCBA supervisors.
Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and respect for all clients and families.
Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma
The ideal candidate will hold an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, special education, early childhood education, or a related field, or be a current undergraduate or graduate student in behavior analysis, psychology, or education.
Effective oral and written communication skills
Outstanding interpersonal and social skills
Excellent observational and analytical skills
Candidates must be patient, flexible, energetic, self-motivated, creative, and must work well in a team environment.
Experience working with children.
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or ability to obtain certifications within 45 days of hire.
Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time.
Must be physically fit and able to lift and carry up to 70 pounds.
CPR and First Aid certified (preferred, not required).
Pass a criminal background check.

Special Considerations:

Candidates who have prior experience working with children with special needs

Pay Rate: varies depending on experience and education

Schedule Options

Full-Time

36–40 hours per week
Monday–Friday 8:15 - 3:45
No evenings, weekends, or major holidays

Part-Time (Ideal for College Students)

Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM–12:45 PM (Morning Shift)
or
Monday–Friday, 12:15 PM–3:45 PM (Afternoon Shift)
