The Opportunity

Are you detail-oriented, proactive, and driven to keep things moving?

We’re looking for an Accounts Receivable (A/R) Specialist to manage the full-cycle billing and collections process while supporting strong financial performance across our projects.

In this role, you’ll partner closely with Project Managers, customers, and internal teams to ensure accurate billing, timely collections, and clear financial visibility. This is an opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the nuances of construction billing, and takes ownership of their work from start to finish.

What You’ll Do

Prepare and issue accurate invoices (progress billing, T&M, contract-based) in alignment with SOVs and contract terms
Partner with Project Managers to gather billing details and resolve discrepancies
Monitor AR aging and proactively manage collections and customer communication
Apply payments, reconcile accounts, and support monthly close processes in Vista
Track lien waivers and ensure compliance with contract billing requirements
Support cash flow by aligning billings with project costs and identifying risks (underbilling, delays)
Assist with WIP schedules and maintain accurate project financial data
Prepare AR reports and identify opportunities to improve billing and collection processes
Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, Procurement, and Operations teams

What We’re Looking For

2+ years of accounts receivable or accounting experience (construction industry preferred)
Strong understanding of billing, collections, and reconciliation processes
Experience with construction billing (progress billing, SOVs, lien waivers) preferred
Proficiency in accounting systems (Vista experience a plus) and Microsoft Excel
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
