Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in delivering outstanding patient service, managing administrative tasks efficiently, maintaining a smooth office flow, and have a pleasant demeanor. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be the first point of contact in our chiropractic office.

Duties

Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
Manage multi-line phone systems, screen calls, and direct inquiries efficiently using proper phone etiquette.
Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar.
Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations.
Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information.
Assist with billing and payment processing
Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits
Provide customer support by answering questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring excellent service standards at all times.

Qualifications

Previous experience working at the front desk of a medical or dental office is preferred, but not required
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients.
Proficiency in using phone systems and handling multiple calls simultaneously
Experience with multi-line phone systems, phone etiquette, and front desk operations.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
