Job Title: SMT Operator
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:30 pm - 11 pm. *Must be able to train on 1st shift (M-F, 6 am - 2:30
pm) for the first week
Pay: $21/hour

Position Overview
The SMT Operator is responsible for operating Surface Mount Technology (SMT) assembly equipment in a safe, efficient, and productive manner while maintaining the highest standards of
quality. This position ensures production objectives are achieved through proper equipment operation, adherence to established processes, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Working within the parameters of the Quality Management (QM) System, the role supports quality initiatives, operational excellence, and company growth objectives by consistently delivering high-quality products that meet customer and organizational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Operating SMT equipment during normal production runs
Ensuring the highest quality of the paste printing, placement, and reflow process
Ensure production tracking documents (Snapshot Forms) are completed properly
Complying with all SMT procedures
Accurate board counting/production tracking
Ensuring AOI 30 minute sample procedure is followed in a timely fashion
Monitor component fallout/contact technician if needed
Birthing product serial numbers in Aegis system
Perform hand placement as needed
Assist with line changeovers as needed
Assist with inspection as needed
Assist with line PMs as needed
Maintain material traceability as required.

Required Qualifications

1 year of general machine operator experience
